How do these treatments work?
The umbilical cord blood stem cells we recommend contain mesenchymal, hematopoietic and endothelial stem cells. These can grow, divide and turn into all of the many cell and tissue types in the body including bone, cartilage, and nerves. In addition, these cells are secreting many growth factors and other substances. These are often in the form of exosomes, small lipid vesicles known to contain proteins, mRNA, growth factors, and cytokines that influence the growth and development of new tissue and help repair damaged tissue. These factors induce the proliferation of the body's own cells and repair mechanisms, and decrease inflammation. As inflammation decreases, there is less of a load of toxic substances, for instance C-reactive protein, which is known to be linked to inflammation in arthritis and brain injury.
Intravenous treatment is used for systemic ailments, such as asthma, inflammatory disorders, organ repair, autoimmune disorders, neurological disease, and rejuvenation. IV treatment in general, greatly reduces inflammation, improves vitality and perhaps even longevity.
Intranasal Therapy, also known as a brain bath, can be used to treat the nervous system for ailments such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, dementia, stroke, autism, memory loss, brain fog, and addiction. Research shows that there is a loss of cells in certain areas of the brain in neurodegenerative disorders. Stem cells can differentiate into these cells, and induce the proliferation of the remaining cells. Instead of being injected directly into the brain, which is difficult in humans(!), stem cells can enter the brain via the olfactory bulb and move throughout the nervous system. In this process, the cells migrate along the olfactory nerves by passing through the cribriform plate. Studies in animals have demonstrated the validity of this approach. See more extensive explanations under Resources.
How are the cells obtained and processed?
The cord is first gathered under the auspices of an officially FDA registered cord blood bank. After transfer to our supplier, the blood cells are aseptically harvested in a fully controlled, sterile environment, using an FDA certified and fully equipped Class 100 clean room. The stem cells are then highly purified using a unique, patented process, with an extra purification step that goes beyond market standards. This process removes the red blood cells and granulocytes, highly enriching the stem cells. The purified cells are tested serologically for multiple infectious diseases and disease agents. Quality assurance and quality control form a significant part of the testing protocol. The stem cells are then precisely and carefully counted using fully automated state-of-the-art equipment. The laboratory is FDA approved, and HIPAA and Public Health registered.
After purification and testing, the stem cells are uniquely cryopreserved and frozen using a U.S patented process. Good manufacturing practices and clinically graded cryopreserved solutions are used in order to minimize or potentially eliminate the elements that would damage the cell viability and reduce the cell quantity while thawing the cells before transplantation. Stem cells are delivered in very controlled environment packaging, packed in dry ice, due to the temperature sensitivity of the product. Product integrity, quality and sterility are our only priorities!
We source our stem cells from Annapanna Therapeutics LLC. They guarantee viability, cell number, and sterility. We had several long conversations with the owner, found his scientific knowledge accurate, and he spoke with integrity. These characteristics are more important to us than cost. We have personally used their products, and experienced wonderful results.
About Us
Our clinic is small and personal. We were invited by Dr. Dave Allderdice, the owner of Sage Cancer Care, a naturopathic clinic, who the heart had worked with previously, to come and join his clinic. Our hours are flexible, mainly on Tuesdays and Thursdays when we practically have the clinic to ourselves, and sometimes other times.
I received a stem cell IV from East Meets West Stem Cell less than a week ago and the fog has been lifted! I have the energy I had 10 years ago, before kids. My mental and emotional clarity has been renewed and little aches and pains I had grown accustomed to have nearly vanished. I am so looking forward to the next 6 months as the stem cells continue to integrate and regenerate my systems!
